Horrifying footage of a fight in playing fields has been branded ‘vile’ by ECHO readers.

The video shows scenes of a fight, believed to have happened close to New Brighton promenade on Friday, April 2.

It shows two girls, thought to be teenagers, fighting with each other as onlookers encourage them.

A girl with red hair drags the girl with blonde hair she is fighting with to the ground.

Footage then shows a third girl drag the blonde girl to the floor before she is kicked in the head by the other girl.

The video seems to end when the two attackers run off, leaving the blonde-haired girl on the floor.

Throughout the incident, onlookers can be heard egging them on with calls of “get her down” and “wig her now.”

“Equally some deaths have occurred from even one punch in a street fight. I hope the girl is OK.”
