We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence
DP Ruto today in his twitter handle stated that “Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence.” #OneNationKenya
This is the other consecutive time Deputy President is seen in public preaching peace and asking Kenyan communities from different diversities, culture and traditions to embrace peace and unity across their daily lives. They should never see each other as the enemies instead we have to look at one another as brothers and sisters.
In his message yesterday as he attended his Service at the Catholic Diocese of Maralal, St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Maralal Parish, Maralal Town, Samburu County. Deputy President William Ruto said “we shouldn’t allow negative politics to use our diversity, different communities, culture and traditions to dive us. The purpose of God in creating us in the manner which He has done is so that we can be stronger and can weave the firebrick of the Kenyan society together and stronger. We need to celebrate our nationhood through our different diversities but to persecute our politics using different ideologies and different policies and programs.” In his speech that he seemed to attack his opponents for using BBI to try divide Kenyans.
