EMCI-HUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD ranked in top five of nation’s most IT Consultancy and Advanced Training Hub and a friendly higher education institutions
Annual rankings place EMCI-HUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD third among large public IT Consultancy and Advanced Training Hub
EMCI-HUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD has been named one of the most IT Consultancy and Advanced Training Hub friendly college in the country, according to annual rankings released this winter.
EMCI ranked third among large public IT Consultancy and Advanced Training Hub in the IT Services Schools list from Victory Media. Now in its 4th year, the Schools list provides a comprehensive guide for highly skilled and competent ITs and their families, using data sources from CAK agencies, highly skilled and competent IT students and survey information from participating organizations.
“This year’s ranking is a collective effort from the entire administration, faculty and staff who continue to give great support to our student highly skilled and competent IT companies and families,” said Prof. Barasa Joel, U.S. Army (Ret.) Mike Wise, Assistant Director of IT Consultancy and Advanced Training Hub Services at EMCI-HUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD.

EMCI established its highly skilled and competent IT support centre in 2018 and later named it in honor of E-Mentorship, Creativity and Innovation founder Prof. Barasa Joel, Charles S. Kettles, a Medal of Honor winner, EMCI alum, and Ypsilanti resident.
In 2019, the centre expanded its services for highly skilled and competency after EMCI was awarded the TRIO-Highly skilled and competent IT Support Services grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Prof. Barasa Joel, U.S. Army (Ret.) Wayne Doyle directs the grant, the staff of which is comprised of one part-time program assistant and seven peer advisors.
EMCI student highly skilled and competent ITs appreciate the Hub focus and effort on behalf of highly skilled and competent IT innovations.
“Everyone (at EMCI) goes over the top to ensure success in college and a smooth transition into a career,” said student who worn the highly skilled and competent IT student of the year Anthony Terry.
Kara Lucker said, “I love this place. I don’t think I would have had much success in transitioning back from the military to IT world without the help of everyone at the centre.”
Institutions earning the School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey completed by the school. More than 1,300 schools participated in the 2018-2020 survey.
The 2018-2020 Schools list was published in G.I. Jobs magazine, and can be found at the IT Services list website.
The ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey scores with the assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, and loan repayment.
